Firewall Technical crafts specific maintenance approaches to meet the specific availability, security and performance needs of each client. As examples, we have included our Level 1 and Level 2 Monthly Server Maintenance Packages.

- Login to each server monthly and manually check hardware usage, OS health and updates/service packs, key log files, anti virus software
- Ensure backups are running
- Make recommendations for hardware upgrades as required
- Test firewall
- Verify server monitoring is functioning as it should
- Provide monitoring to ping and test HTTP every 15 minutes
- Time spent on hardware failures or intrusions is billed separately. If any problem found in the log file takes more than 15 minutes, we will discuss whether or not to continue at an additional charge
- Security patches
- Application patches

- Test backup media monthly (10 files randomly chosen from each backup set/server)
- Build and Maintain monthly images of each server so that the server can be easily rebuilt in the event of a disaster
- Rebuild one server from backup each quarter as a test run
- Check log files twice per month
